In DSA, we believe that meaningful change can only come from working people organizing towards achieving our interests. We are a volunteer organization, not funded by any corporate interests or billionaire-led foundations. We work to build power for the working class by supporting workers trying to fight for their rights at workplaces, contributing to community-driven mutual aid efforts, pressuring elected officials into passing reforms, and running socialists for elected office. To carry out these efforts, we urge people to join DSA, pay dues, and volunteer at events.
